Why Most People Wait Too Long to Start
You may be experiencing:
- →Unsure if you qualify for TMS therapy
- →Wondering whether your insurance will cover it
- →Not sure what the first appointment involves
- →Anxious about starting a new treatment
- →Questions about what the sessions actually feel like
- →Wondering how long before you see results
Most patients who come to us for a consultation have done their research. They know what TMS is. What they don’t know is what starting actually feels like — and what to expect at every step from the first call to the final session.
This page is for people who are close to deciding. We walk through the process completely — so that if you choose TMS, you start with confidence, not uncertainty.
The consultation is not a sales call. It is a clinical conversation — and there is no commitment required.
Why Most People Wait Too Long to Start
The most common reason patients delay starting TMS is not cost or logistics — it is the weight of previous treatment disappointments. If multiple medications have failed, starting something new requires trusting that this will be different. That is a significant psychological hurdle.
Our approach is to remove uncertainty before you commit. We verify insurance, explain the process, answer every clinical question, and review your treatment history — all before your first session. If TMS isn’t right for you, we will tell you that too.

The Complete Starting Process — Step by Step
It starts with a phone call
Call our office, describe your situation, and we schedule a free consultation. No referral required in most cases. Most major insurance plans cover TMS for qualifying patients.
The consultation is a clinical conversation
We review your diagnosis, treatment history, and current symptoms. We also run insurance verification during this visit so you know your coverage before anything else.
Mapping comes first
Before your first actual treatment session, we calibrate the device to your specific anatomy — identifying the motor threshold and target location precisely for your brain.
Sessions fit your schedule
Five days a week, approximately 20 minutes per session, over 7–9 weeks. Most patients build the sessions into their existing daily schedule without disruption.
Step by Step — From Evaluation to Relief
Free Consultation & Insurance Check
We review your treatment history, confirm your diagnosis, and verify insurance before anything else happens.
Personalized Brain Mapping
Your first session calibrates the device to your anatomy — identifying the exact location and magnetic intensity for your treatment.
36 Sessions Over 7–9 Weeks
Five sessions per week, approximately 20 minutes each. Drive yourself — no downtime, no disruption to your day.
Progress Monitoring Throughout
We track your symptom changes with validated tools and adjust the protocol if your response calls for it.
Sustained Relief
Many patients maintain meaningful improvement for one year or more following treatment completion.
What Patients Say About Starting
The most common thing patients tell us after their first session? They wish they had started sooner.
Less intimidating than expected
The device is non-invasive. You sit comfortably. The magnetic pulses produce a tapping sensation that most patients adapt to quickly within the first few sessions.
Supported throughout
We check in with you regularly — not just to track symptoms but to make sure you understand what’s happening and feel confident in the process.
Progress you can measure
We use validated clinical tools to track your symptom changes. You can see the data, not just feel the difference.
Back to your day immediately
No recovery. No sedation. You drive yourself home, to work, or wherever you need to go after every single session.

Heard From South Florida Patients
I put it off for two years because I was afraid it wouldn’t work. When I finally started I was shocked by how straightforward it was. Comfortable sessions, clear communication, and real results. I wish I had started the moment my psychiatrist suggested it.
The consultation answered every question I had before I committed. No pressure. Just information. I left knowing exactly what the process involved and feeling confident about starting. That made all the difference.
I was nervous about my first session. By session three it was just part of my routine. By week four I was already noticing changes. Starting was the hardest part — and it wasn’t that hard.
